Ruchi Sharma is an acclaimed Kathak exponent and founder of Ruchi Kathak Classes, Mumbai. For her significant contribution to Indian classical dance, she was honoured with the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award by the Ministry of Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh. She began her training in Kathak from childhood under the traditional Guru–Shishya Parampara, absorbing the rich traditions of various Kathak gharanas and inspiring generations of dancers through her dedication to the art form.
